Fizz-Pop Canister Rockets
Builds paper rockets around small snap-lid canisters that blast upwards when fizzing tablets make gas inside. Children learn that the reaction releases carbon dioxide, pressure builds until the lid pops off, and the rocket shoots the other way, showing Newton's third law. It is a fire-free way to enjoy the excitement of a rocket launch.

Stomp-Powered Firework Rocket Launcher
Engineers a launcher from a plastic bottle and an old piece of hose that fires paper rockets with a stamp of the foot. Children learn that squashing the bottle pushes air through the hose at high pressure, and they investigate how launch angle and rocket weight change how far a rocket flies.
