Cardboard-Loom Woven Mat

Captain A will help you learn: Weaving over-and-under on a homemade loom teaches the basic structure of all woven cloth and builds rhythm, focus and fine motor control.
โ ๏ธ An adult should cut the notches and the cardboard; keep the weaving needle away from young children.
Steps
- Ask an adult to cut small notches about 1cm apart along the top and bottom short edges of the cardboard.
- Slot the string into the first top notch, run it straight down to the matching bottom notch, and back up, filling every notch to make tight vertical threads called the warp.
