Fizzy Sherbet Sweets

Professor O will help you learn: Citric acid and baking soda are dry until they hit the wet on your tongue — then they fizz (that same gas reaction!).

⚠️ This one you can eat, so use clean bowls and clean hands. Use food-grade citric acid. Check for allergies in any jelly powder you add, and go easy — too much citric acid can sting the tongue.

Play through the project step by step, with narration read aloud.

Make it your own: Tweak the amounts to make it more or less fizzy.
