Salt or Sugar Crystal Garden

Professor O will help you learn: Dissolving, saturation and evaporation - crystals form as water leaves behind the salt or sugar.
โ ๏ธ An adult handles the hot water for dissolving and does the pouring, as the water needs to be very hot to dissolve so much salt or sugar. Let the jar cool before children handle it.
Steps
- Ask an adult to half-fill the jar with very hot water.
- Stir in a spoonful of salt or sugar at a time, letting each spoonful dissolve before adding the next.
